One part stage show, one part musical performance, Amanda Richards and her undead band put on an incredible show featuring old-school country songs from the album Play Dead, winner of the 2011 Independent Music Award for Best Concept Album, about the zombie apocalypse written from the perspective of the soon-to-be last person on Earth who happens to be a country singer and a feminist.
Notable performances include: Aladdin Theater- Portland, OR (600 in attendance), Alberta Rose Theater- Portland, OR (300 in attendance), Mississippi Studios- (150 in attendance), Haight Ashbury Street Fair -San Francisco, CA (20,000 in attendance),  and many smaller capacity venues throughout the Pacific NW.
Folks have said we sound like: Lucinda Williams, Calexico, Patti Smith, Bonnie Prince Billy, The Velvet Underground, Mazzy Star, Angel Olsen and Bonnie Raitt.

Songwriting influences include: The Magnetic Fields, Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits, Harry Nilsson, The Kinks, Woody Guthrie and many of the Old Country Masters such as: Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Patsy Cline and The Sons of the Pioneers
